Carolyn’s Famous Fried Rice

-1 cup cooked rice, cooked
-6-8 pieces bacon
-4 green onions, chopped
-1 Tbsp. Chopped parsley
-1/2 tsp. garlic powder
-1/4 tsp. black pepper
-1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
-1 large egg
-leftover pork chops, chicken or roast
Cook bacon until crisp in large skillet, remove bacon to drain, reserve drippings in skillet. Add onions to bacon drippings, cook at medium-low heat for 30 seconds, add rice and cook, toss until lightly browned on medium-low. Add parsley, soy sauce garlic powder and black pepper to rice mixture in skillet, toss to combine. Beat egg and cook in separate saute pan, cut up and add to rice mixture, then add crumbled bacon and leftover meat.
